President Obama just announced late this evening that a deal has been reached to cut government spending and raise the debt ceiling in order to avoid a debt default. If the deal is approved on Monday, it will raise the debt ceiling by between $2.1 and $2.4 trillion in three installments: $400 billion immediately, $500 billion this fall subject to a disapproval vote by Congress, and $1.2 to $1.5 trillion more after a special committee agrees on a matching amount of spending cuts that will be in addition to $900 billion in spending cuts proposed in the bill. With no tax increases included in this plan, all of this additional debt will eventually be monetized and paid for through monetary inflation.

Although the deal is supposed to cut as much as $2.4 trillion in spending over the next decade, Obama said that none of the spending cuts will occur anytime soon so that not to derail the phony economic recovery. That’s right, none of the cuts will come until early 2013 and by then we will need to once again raise the debt ceiling to north of $20 trillion. If our elected representatives were serious about cutting spending, they would have the bulk of the spending cuts now and not in the future when many of them will be out of office.

This deal is a complete and total sham, and will do nothing to prevent hyperinflation. In no way will these spending cuts be mandated and nothing will force future Congresses to abide by them. Even with these cuts, government spending is going to increase every single year for the next decade. As price inflation spirals out of control in the years ahead causing the purchasing power of the dollar to plummet, all government employees will demand higher salaries and it will cost more to run all parts of the government. Future Congresses will raise spending and make the spending cuts proposed in this deal meaningless.

NIA believes that all of the events that took place in Washington this weekend were scripted in advance. It is likely that both parties knew from the beginning what deal they would ultimately agree to, but came out with these other proposed bills in order to satisfy tea party supporters and make them think that their efforts are making a difference. The reality is, although the tea party movement helped Republicans take over the House of Representatives so that Democrats didn’t have free rein in Washington, most of the new Republicans elected to Congress haven’t followed through with their promises and have failed to make any kind of a positive difference.

Everybody in Washington assumes that interest rates will remain at artificially low levels for the rest of this decade. The interest rate that the U.S. paid on its total marketable debt in the month of June was only 2.38%. Exactly one decade earlier, in June of 2001, we paid 6.162% interest on our total marketable debt or 159% higher than current average interest rates. On August 15th we owe our next interest payment of approximately $30 billion. Imagine if that payment rises 159% higher to $77.7 billion or $932.4 billion annualized. Later this decade, interest rates will not only rise back to normal levels like we had in 2001, but will likely rise to artificially high levels to balance out the damage being created today from artificially low interest rates.

If this bill is approved by Congress and the President on Monday, it will avoid a short-term honest debt default but just about guarantee a default by inflation later this decade. There is about a 1 in 1,000 chance that future Congresses will stick with the spending cuts in this bill, but even if they do, rising interest payments will not only wipe out the $2.4 trillion in spending cuts, but they will add trillions more to future deficits and the national debt. A new Gallup Poll shows that 53% of Americans oppose raising the debt ceiling compared to only 37% who favor an increase. We pray that millions of Americans march to Washington tomorrow in protest of this bill and that millions more call, email, and fax their elected representatives in the morning demanding that they vote no.

An Introduction to the Articles of Freedom

Think of the millions of folks, including members of the Armed Forces, who have raised their right hand and said, “I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Think of the millions who have placed their right hand over their heart and said, “I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.”

How could anyone who has pledged their devotion to the Constitution, reconcile the following violations of the Constitution that are destroying America? When will it end?

For decades, our Government has been meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, without any Constitutional authority, causing foreign nationals to direct their hostilities towards us, which has given us a War on Terror and a growing Police State that is repugnant to the Fourth Amendment and the General Welfare of a Free People;
For decades, we have had undeclared wars in violation of the War Powers clauses of Articles I and II;
We are now gifting and lending public money and credit to private corporations for decidedly private purposes (corporate welfare), without any constitutional authority, whatsoever;
We have a fiat currency, in violation of the money clauses of Article I;
We have been emitting trillions of dollars worth of Bills of Credit through or under the auspices of the Federal Reserve System in violation of Article I;
We have been incurring trillions of dollars worth of debt for the payment of expenditures for programs and activities that are not enumerated in Article I, and therefore not authorized;
We have a fraudulently ratified 16th Amendment in violation of Article V, a direct, un-apportioned tax on labor in violation of the tax clauses of Article I, and a judicial system that refuses to consider the evidence, in violation of Article III;
For decades we have had unenforced immigration laws in violation of that mandate, plainly-worded in Article II, that requires the President to “faithfully execute” all the laws passed by Congress;
We have a President who apparently is not a natural born citizen, a violation of Article II;
We are counting our votes in secret, as all machines do, in violation of our constitutional right not only to vote but to know that our votes are being accurately counted;
We have an absence of well-regulated state militias, and we have federal gun control laws, all in violation of the Second Amendment;
For decades, in violation of the sovereignty clauses of the Declaration of Independence, the United States has been entering into treaties, contracts and relationships with foreign entities, and giving authority to international bodies, dissipating, destroying and undermining America’s sovereignty;
We have private land being taken for private purposes in violation of the Fifth Amendment.
We have a Government about to become a provider of Health Care, and about to order the People to purchase a product, powers that are not enumerated in Article I, and therefore not authorized.
We have money bills originating in the Senate, in violation of Article I.
We have a Senate that is using a supermajority vote to decide whether to enact a law, without an amendment to the Constitution, all in violation of Article I, Sections 3 and 5, and Article 5.

These violations have challenged the Constitutional Republic of the United States and Her People to Its core.

Above all, we have government officials who, for fourteen years, and more, have refused to honor their fundamental obligation to respond to the People’s First Amendment Petitions to Redress these violations. I call this the “capstone grievance.”

It is well settled in American Jurisprudence that if anyone has an obligation to respond and he fails to do so, his silence amounts to admission. It is also well settled that any Right that is not enforceable is not a Right – that is, with every Right there is a Remedy. However, the Constitution cannot defend itself. It is the duty of the People to defend it.

The We The People Foundation exists for the purpose of protecting and defending our federal and state Constitutions and to ensure the day comes when the American People will have institutionalized citizen vigilance for the purpose of routinely holding their elected officials accountable to their Constitutions, regardless of their political stripes and whether they voted for them.

The vision for Continental Congress 2009 came in December of 2008, while I was preparing to give a speech at Faneuil Hall in Boston. The idea was well received. From January 1 – May 1, I traveled to 88 cities in all 50 states to meet with People to see if this was an idea they would support and help make a reality. They agreed.

On May 21, the Foundation sponsored a meeting of leaders of the Freedom movement at the Jekyll Island Club in Georgia. This was the place where the Federal Reserve was first conceived in 1910. We stood in the Federal Reserve Room, as it is called, and asked our Creator to put a new and righteous record for America in the place of what had gone before. We believe our prayers were answered. We discussed Continental Congress 2009 and if this was an idea they could support and help make a reality. They all agreed.

From June 1 – October 10, a national structure was established to accommodate Continental Congress 2009. State coordinators in nearly every state volunteered their time and energy along with other citizens. A small national management team formed to assist. Delegates were nominated in each state to attend the Congress.

A Constitutionally – correct election was held on October 10. On November 11, 2009, the delegates attended Continental Congress 2009 at the Pheasant Run Conference Center in St. Charles, Illinois, sponsored by the Foundation. The Delegates of Continental Congress 2009 were not professional legislators or wordsmiths. They were ordinary, non-aligned citizens from across America and all walks of life. They set aside their lives for this Assembly. They represented You and Me, the Free People of America.

The conclusion of their efforts, their recommended Course of Action to restore and maintain Constitutional obedience in America, is This Document called ‘‘Articles of Freedom.’’

It is proposed that these Articles be distributed to All in the Land, with the intent to draw the attention and courage of a “goodly number of millions of People” who, entitled to their Freedom and essential to Its maintenance, Arise to Restore and maintain the Constitution for the United States of America.

Then and only then shall America’s Destiny be Fulfilled.

Please take the time to read the Articles of Freedom. Learn about the Constitution. Take the Pledge to stand with millions of Americans as the Articles of Freedom are served on our elected officials, and then, if necessary, to participate in coordinated, non-violent, legal and Constitutional civic actions to stop the violations.

TIME TO STRIKE GLOBALLY

As April 15th approaches, more and more reasons become apparent as to how very far we’ve fallen, and how important it is to unite and make a stand. Peaceful Non-Compliance is essential, for our governments are too well prepared to make war upon the people, and counting on it by provoking us continuously with tyranny and taxation, all at our expense, stripping us of our wealth, while transferring it to the bankers who’ve planned this all along. It’s economic warfare waged successfully on “WE the PEOPLE”. We’ve been left no choice, obey and pay, or have the IRS make sure you do by withholding your returns and invading your private account in order to steal directly from it.

In the not so United States, they attempt to distract us with partisan politics and people like Palin, who speak of the President being able to save himself and gain a second term by playing “The War Card”. Well just this week all of us learned what that actually means. Murder, without any humanity, and unfortunately, with Americans committing these atrocities, and the horror of the incident not being exclusive, but part of business as usual. We’ve been steadily losing in this illegal, undeclared, invasion of Iraq, using depleted uranium and totally destroying the environment and the people who attempt to try and live their lives there, and who, unfortunately are birthing children with the worst possible birth defects imaginable, because we allow it. Then our soldiers, who are also contaminated, come home to share their disease with their wives and families. Is it any wonder that active military personnel committed suicide in higher numbers last year than were killed in combat in Iraq? Do you realize that we spend over A BILLION DOLLARS A WEEK ON WAR BECAUSE WE ALLOW IT????

And then we have bernanke, and the fda (who do not deserve capitalization due to the crapitilism they’ve committed) telling us that they will have to make some hard decisions about OUR taxes……WHILE THEY PROFIT AND LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK BECAUSE WE ALLOW IT!!!! THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SERVE US, NOT AS THE MAIN COURSE FOR THEIR GREED!

Now those of us who still believe that a political party will save us, think about whether or not your vote actually counts. As long as corporations have “person” status and are not held accountable for their “externalities”, as long as lobbyists run bribes, and the Electoral College exists, as long as voting machines are used, as long as congress passes bills without being required to read them, and can openly state they ignore our Constitution, how can your vote count? How about voting instead, within our counties, for Sheriff’s who uphold our Rights and Constitution? And IGNORING the other distracting SHOW that gives us the ILLUSION of choice?

Have YOU HAD ENOUGH YET? TIRED OF BEING IGNORED, LIED TO, AND STOLEN FROM WHILE BANKS SHOW RECORD PROFITS AND OUR CHILDREN ARE INDUCTED INTO THE MILITARY BECAUSE IT’S THE ONLY JOB AVAILABLE? THINK THAT’S A COINCIDENCE???

Are YOU CONTENT TO CONTINUE TO SIT BY AND ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO LOSE THEIR FUTURE? WE’VE ALREADY CONDEMNED OUR DESCENDANTS TO DEBT SLAVERY BY OUR INACTION. WHERE IS YOUR LINE IN THE SAND?

There is A “ME” IN AMERICA! WHAT WILL YOU DO??

Time to withdraw support from “Governments gone Wild”. Time to pull our money and labor away while we educate ourselves and learn what true Patriot’s are and do what they do.

They DEFEND THEIR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND THEIR COUNTRY, NOT THEIR GOVERNMENT, THEIR COUNTRY AGAINST PRESUMED INTERFERENCE BY THEIR GOVERNMENT!!! Well, it’s no longer presumed…

WE emulate the great actions of Gandhi, who tells us we need to be only 3 things in order to be successful:

Over 300 million of US, in America, over 6 Billion people globally, and ALL OF US have a stake in this! Unless WE want to be stripped, chipped, and dipped, the time for action is APRIL 15-18, culminating APRIL 19^th, PATRIOTS DAY!

“WE the PEOPLE” of ALL NATIONS CALL FOR A TOTAL, COMPLETE, PEACEFUL, NON-VIOLENT, COLLECTIVE WITHDRAWAL OF SUPPORT FROM ALL CORPORATE GOVERNMENTS FOR 4 CONSECUTIVE DAYS, APRIL 15-18. WE WILL KEEP OUR MONEY IN OUR POCKETS!

“WE the PEOPLE” of ALL NATIONS HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM, LIED TO, AND MURDERED FOR PROFIT. WE will take this time in order to step back and pull out of the system in order to educate ourselves about how we got here, the violations of our governments, the history of banking, and in America, we will focus on OUR Constitution. We will learn about the Articles of Freedom, which document violations and offer remedies to our current position. Our CONSTITUTION AND OUR RIGHTS MUST BE DEFENDED!!! The Articles of Freedom will be served at state capitols in America on Patriots Day, and WE WILL SUPPORT THEM AND PAY ATTENTION!

THE TIME FOR FREEDOM TO BE PASSED DOWN TO US WITHOUT OUR INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION AND SACRIFICE HAS PASSED!

Throughout our history we’ve been taught that some of us, by Divine Right, are meant to rule over others. This is now the 21^ST Century and time for a higher level of thinking, and a collective raising of Our Consciousness.
